We provide services throughout the entire state of Oklahoma.
What are your minimum and maximum hours of service?
Our services are normally available from a minimum of 16 hours per week (4 hours a day), to a maximum of 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.
Where are your services provided?
We provide services:
- in homes
- in nursing facilities,
- in assisted living facilities,
- in hospitals
Do I have to sign a contract for a specified period of time?
No. We use a Client Service Agreement, which gives our customers the freedom to adjust or stop our services at any time.
Who determines the number of hours of care?
How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since 2009. We currently spend thousands of hours each week providing highly regarded caregiving services throughout Oklahoma.
How quickly can services be provided?
Services can begin immediately, but usually start a few days after a service agreement is signed.
Are your services covered by Medicare?
Unfortunately they are not. Medicare primarily covers acute skilled care, and usually only after a hospital stay.
How do most folks pay for care?
Typical reimbursement sources for our services include:
- self or private pay,
- some government funded programs,
- long term care insurance
Is Florence Night and Day licensed?
Yes. In Oklahoma we are licensed by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
How much does your service cost?
Our costs are very competitive. The 2015 Genworth Financial Cost of Care Survey for the state of Oklahoma indicates the median hourly rate for Home Health Aides in Oklahoma is $20 per hour. Our rates are lower across all of Oklahoma and in every listed city than Genworth's median rates. For example in Oklahoma City we have more information here. Our rates for 24-hour live-in care are significantly lower per hour than the rates mentioned above.
We bill on an hourly basis (except for 24-hour daily care) and invoices are normally mailed every two weeks. Please call us to learn more about our prices.
Who pays the caregiver and how are caregivers paid?
All of our caregivers are employees of Florence Night and Day LLC. We pay our caregivers weekly, along with remitting mandatory payroll taxes and withholdings and paying unemployment and workerís compensation insurances.
